We want to take this

United Methodist Church. Our site is filled with a wealth of
information in an effort to show you the many programs and Christian
Activities that we offer to people of all ages. These programs
are intended to enhance spiritual growth, discipleship and
fellowship with other Christians.

Our Annual Americus
District Camp meeting
June 28—July 2, 2009
It is that time of year again
when the United Methodist people from across the Americus
District gather at Camp Dooley in Vienna, Georgia for a time
of renewal. This year’s preacher for the camp meeting will
be The Reverend Dr. Rick Lanford from the Methodist
Children’s Home. Rick will be our preacher for the evening
services beginning at 7:30P.M. each night. For the morning
services beginning at 11:00A.M., each morning we will have a
different preacher each day. Our song leader for this
year’s meeting will be Ms. Angie Carr. Our night to sponsor
attendance at the camp meeting will be Thursday. Camp
meeting is a wonderful time to be together and have our
spirits renewed with heart warming singing and preaching. I
hope as we are able that we will make plans to be in
attendance at this year’s Americus District Camp meeting.
We will be taking our church van on Thursday Night to the
Camp Meeting service. We will leave the church at
6:15P.M. Anyone needing transportation is encouraged to
join us for this trip on the church van.
